Minister for Colonies is most anxious to receive your reply to his private enquiry of September 25th without further delay. His position is that he feels unable to move with the
Prime Minister until he learns how far he can rely on us for
He is supply of four Ospreys or machines of similar type. being hard pressed but does not wish to yield to Italians who are offering immediate delivery of Italian machines.
As the need is very urgent and as I am due to see him on
October 21st I shall be grateful for a favourable reply before
that date.
